Isnt tungsten radio active?

I just saw an add for tungsten wedding bands. I am a welder and I remember learning that the tungsten in Tig Welding is slightly radio active, is it the tungsten or was it the additive to the tungsten that was radio active? Wouldnt a tungsten wedding band be a sure fire way to have defective kids?

One isotope of tungsten is radioactive with a half life of 1.8 trillion years (Wikipedia). So the radiation you would ever get from tungsten would be the most minute fraction of what you get from 14C and 40K in your body all the time.
