Who invented the oxy-Acetylene Gas Cutting Torch?

In 1895 a French chemist Henry Le Chatelier, has announced the world that the burning of quantities of acetylene and oxygen flame produces a hot (about 60000F or 33000C) than any flame previously known gas. He also noted that the flame will not rust the metal melt. At the same time, researchers have to work to find a means of controlling the fire welding. Credit for production of the first torch is usually attributed to Edmund Fouche, of France, who had discovered a sure way of compression of acetylene cylinders. In 1903, Fouche sent one of his first torch in the United States, where it has been used successfully in the same year. Dr. Carl von Linde of Germany, built his first factory production of liquid air (to be used for cooling purposes) in 1895, the same year that Le Chatelier discovered the remarkable properties of oxy-acetylene. In 1902, Von Linde built a factory which shook not only the air but then fractionated to produce pure oxygen. With acetylene and widely available, basic resources needed for general operation of the oxy-acetylene process was available.
